ther was an old man who was too ill
on night , he called his sons to his house
when they came , he gave each a stick and
asked them to break the sticks
every one was able to break his stick
then , the father gave each a bundle of sticks
but no one could break his bundle
they tried and tried but they couldn ‘ t
the father said : ( if you were together , no
one can beat you , but if you were separated
anyone can beat you , just like these sticks
