قصيدة انا كتبتها بس بالانجليزي

[انس 1988]

A DARK NIGHT



once at the night

once when there was no light

in the cold dark desert , like the night

i sit on the land

my legs in the sand

staring to the sky



only me and the stars

that's all what it was

silent cold and dark

and me inside





i moved my eyes

through the wide wide sky

wide like the sea

and me

like a fish inside



watching the stars

hoping to find

a star that shall be mine

the star that can open my heart

and get inside

then rise her flag

to announce that

she own my heart

and will stay

to the end of life





and what did i find ??



millions of stars

looking at me

like a stranger in a lost town

like a lost fish in the wide sea

like a bird that cannot find

a place to land .



i only want a star

a star , that the Lord

write in his board

at the seventh sky

that I will be hers

and she... will be mine





and i know

that in a day

i will find

my lost star .
