هو كتاب في وصف الحب وأحواله، ذكر فيه المؤلف قصص الحب وأحواله وطبقاته حتى رقى به إلى أسمى الأخلاق الإنسانية، مع ذكر للجمال وسره متوخيا العفة والأدب بما يرقى بالفكر والأخلاق إلى مرحلة الكمال . وقد ضمنه الكثير من الأشعار المتعلقة بالموضوع فجاء الكتاب راقيا في موضوعه وراقيا في أسلوبه وقد تم تحقيقه زيادة في الفائدة
