Miracles of our Prophet Mohamed

Prophet Mohamed peace be upon him lived among his tribe for forty years,
known for the great honesty,and truthworthiness .
When his all embracing message descended upon him, bidding him to lead his people to enlightenment from darkness ,God blessed him with many miracles that reinforced his cause and furthur proved his legitimacy as a
messenger to mankind .
His most astounding miracles can be summed as follows:

1.The Qur'an: The Qur'an descended upon Mohamed(pbuh) in the Arabian tongue, a living language that is still used today.
With precision in meaning magnificence in language , compelling truth and logic , no man was ever able to emulate
or copy its words .
When the words of the Qur'an were revealed to Prophet Mohamed (pbuh), an illiterate man with no prior work of poetry or prose , no one was able to deny their authenticity as Godly message .
And to this day, not a single syllable or letter was changed , modified or annulled.

2. Israa' and Mi'raj: In the night prophet Mohamed (pbuh) was escorted on a trip from Mecca to Jerusalem , a journey thet usually takes more than one month. Challenging all concepts of time and space ,he was further ascended to the seven heavens where he was witness to incredible and miraculous events. All his recollections of one night only furthered his companions' belief and thier commitment to his message .

3. Split the moon: The Prophet pointed to the moon , and the people saw it with the power of Allah split in half right in front of their eyes.

4.The pebbles that glorified Allah: while holding some pebbles in his hand,people heard them(the pebbles) repeat loudly "Glory to Allah,Glory to Allah"


5. Treatment of the ill : Peace be upon him also treated ,with Allah's blessing people with what was considerd at the time untreatable illness in the heart and body.


6.Foretold the future : The Prophet told men what lied secretly in their hearts. He also foretold events in the future , some of which already occurred , and some yet to be revealed.

7. Blessings and growth: The Prophet used to touch a lamb and it would gorge with milk .He would also put his fingers in a pot , only to be filled with food or drink enough to feed hundreds without ever depleting .
