PRAYERS

Lord, make my life A window for Your light To shine through And a mirror to reflect Your love To all I meet. Amen

Lord, thou maddest us for thyself, and we can find no rest till we find rest in thee

Dear God, The little plans I tried to carry through have failed I will not sorrow. I'll pause a little while, Dear God, And try, again, tomorrow

Good morning, Lord! What are You up to today? Can I be a part of it? Thank You. Amen.

Prayer is not monologue, but dialogue; God's voice is its most essential part. Listening to God's voice is the secret of the assurance that He will listen to mine

Prayer at its highest is a two-way conversation-and for me the most important part is listening to God's replies

Since God knows our future, our personalities, and our capacity to listen, He isn't ever going to say more to us than we can deal with at the moment
