فإذا كانت حالة المنفذ Blocked هذا يعني أن هذا المنفذ غير مهيأ لأية عملية اختراق

أما إذا كانت حالة المنفذ Closed فهذا يعني أنه من الممكن لمخترقي الأنظمة أن يستغلوا بعض ثغرات TCP/IP في عملياتهم الغير مشروعة على جهازك

أما إذا كانت حالة المنفذ Opened فإن كومبيوترك مستقبل خصب للمخترقين وسيكون من السهل عليهم الوصول لكومبيوترك
وفي الحالة الثالثة يتوجب عليك اتخاذ إجراءات مناسبة لإيقاف استجابة هذه المنافذ لمحاولات الاختراق
