Rocket-Battered Families Leaving Kibbutz Kfar Aza
(IsraelNN.com) Approximately 40 families have announced they are leaving Kibbutz Kfar Aza, which has been a constant target of terrorist rocket and mortar shelling attacks, one of which killed a kibbutz member last Friday. Kfar Aza is located in the western Negev and is the same ******** where the religious Kibbutz Sa'ad was established and was the site of fighting in the War for Independence in 1948. Sa'ad now is located across the highway from Kfar Aza.
Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council director Alon Shuster said the council would assist kibbutz members who want to leave. Hamas terrorist leaders previously have vowed to continue attacks until nearby Sderot becomes a "ghost town."
